We will begin with 'how do I turn this thing on?' This Webcast will begin with an hour of basic introduction to the computer system by computer specialist guest presenters and afterwards move into vocabulary and basic interpreting models. We will show computer processes in a class room situation to increase basic knowledge of breaking down and understanding how to interpret computer lingo.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will be able to define the meaning of the term “computer”.
  • Participants will be able to list three primary components of a computer in conceptually accurate ASL.
  • Participants will be able to describe three peripherals for a computer in conceptually accurate ASL.
