This workshop will provide a brief overview of the history of educational interpreting, the EIPA test, and general exercises and test-taking strategies to pass both the EIPA written and performance portions with a score than can make an interpreter employable no matter the state in which they live. This workshop will also discuss which states administer and accept the EIPA and the minimum overal socres those states require.

Educational Objectives:

Participants will be able to apply test-taking strategies as well as locate applicable resources to take and successfully pass both the EIPA written and performance portions.
